Today's Prescription: Wearing Bright Colors During Fall & Winter

Happy Monday boos and baes! I’m literally blowing dust off the blog right now, it’s been a minute. I’m back now, and I’m super excited to give ya’ll some content. 

While the weather is fall one day, winter the next, and a little summer in between, one thing is for sure for me: COLOR. Now there are days where I’m a vampy, sporting a dark lip, but the color train will never come to a stop for any season. 

So, if you’re a color queen like me, keep reading for tips on how to wear bright colors in fall and winter.

  1. Choose a Practical Piece: When it comes to dressing for fall and winter, you have to protect yourself from the harsh weather. While my abstract suit is colorful, it’s a set that will keep me warm and comfy. You can shop it here.

2. Colorblocking: This is the easiest way to go for me. Colorblocking simply includes something like this: a nice purple sweater, and a purple or pink pair of trousers. You’re

3. Layer it Up: For your really cold days, layer your colorful pieces. This can be built off the colorblocking tip above. You can throw on trousers, a blouse, and a blazer for a colorful office look, or build off the sweater look above with a thick bright and bold scarf or a nice colorful winter coat.

4. Multi-Color or Bold Pieces: Here’s a simple fix. Choose pieces that have multiple colors in them. Opt for a bright colored jumpsuit like this one here or what I’m wearing. Though it’s a two piece, it has all of the colors I need to stand out, stay warm, and give color queen vibes for days.
